Biography:

Blade, born Eric Brooks, first appeared in Tomb of Dracula #10 (July 1973).

He is a dhampir; a human with vampire-like abilities after his mother was attacked by a vampire while pregnant. This resulted in him being immune to vampire bites, resistant to sunlight, and possessing enhanced strength, speed, and senses.

Blade has dedicated his life to hunting and destroying vampires. He utilizes a variety of weapons, including swords, stakes, and throwing blades, often coated with anti-vampire serums.
