Jonathan "Johnny" Storm, also known as the Human Torch, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

Johnny gained his powers after being exposed to cosmic rays during an unauthorized space flight alongside his older sister Sue Storm, her boyfriend Reed Richards, and pilot Ben Grimm. These rays gave him the ability to engulf himself in flames, fly, and project fire.

Often portrayed as the impulsive and hot-headed younger brother of Sue, Johnny's youth and brash personality provide a contrasting dynamic within the team. Despite his immaturity, he is a brave and powerful hero, contributing significantly to the Fantastic Four's many victories.

Beyond his affiliation with the Fantastic Four, Johnny has also been a member of other superhero teams, including the Avengers and the New Warriors. He has maintained various romantic relationships, most notably with the Inhuman Crystal.
