Johnny Storm, better known as the Human Torch, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Human Torch first appeared in *Fantastic Four* #1 (November 1961). During a space mission, Johnny Storm was bombarded with cosmic rays, granting him the ability to engulf his body in flames, fly, and project fire.

As the Human Torch, Johnny is often portrayed as the hot-headed, impulsive member of the team. He frequently uses his powers for daring rescues and battles against various threats to the world.
