Vegeta is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball Z anime series. He first appears in episode 29, "Vegeta Attacks!", of the anime adaptation.
He is introduced as the proud Prince of the Saiyan race, a warrior people known for their immense strength and love of battle. Initially, Vegeta serves as a major antagonist, ruthlessly seeking the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality and defeat Goku.
