Vegeta is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series created by Akira Toriyama.
He first appeared in Dragon Ball Z episode 29, "Vegeta the Ruthless". He is the prince of the Saiyan race, a proud and powerful warrior race from the planet Vegeta. Initially introduced as a ruthless villain seeking the Dragon Balls to achieve immortality, Vegeta's primary goal was to surpass Goku, the Saiyan raised on Earth, in power.
Over time, Vegeta's character evolved. He eventually becomes a reluctant ally and a devoted husband to Bulma and father to Trunks and Bulla.
