Vegeta IV, often simply called Vegeta, is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He first appears in the Dragon Ball Z anime series, specifically in the "Saiyan Saga," as a powerful and ruthless Saiyan prince.

Initially introduced as an antagonist seeking the Dragon Balls to gain immortality and conquer Earth, Vegeta undergoes a significant character arc throughout the series. He is incredibly proud and determined, driven by a desire to surpass Goku, his Saiyan rival.

Over time, Vegeta evolves from a villain to a complex anti-hero, fighting alongside the Z Fighters to protect Earth from greater threats. While his rivalry with Goku remains a constant, he also develops a sense of responsibility and loyalty, especially toward his family, including his wife Bulma and son Trunks. Dragon Ball Daima is the next iteration of this character.
