Vegeta is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball Z anime series, produced by Bandai. He first appears in episode 5 of Dragon Ball Z, titled "Goku Dies! There's Only One Chance!"

He is the proud Saiyan prince, initially introduced as a ruthless villain seeking the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality and conquer the universe. Vegeta harbors a deep-seated rivalry with Goku, constantly striving to surpass him in power.

Over time, Vegeta evolves from an antagonist to a complex anti-hero, driven by his Saiyan pride and a desire to prove his superiority. He forms a family with Bulma and Trunks, and fights alongside the Z Fighters to protect Earth from various threats.
