Toy Freddy is an animatronic character featured in the Five Nights at Freddy's video game franchise. He debuts in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 as one of the redesigned "toy" versions of the original animatronics.
Physically, Toy Freddy resembles Freddy Fazbear but has a more rounded, child-friendly appearance. He has rosy cheeks, a lighter brown color scheme, and a more expressive face. He wears a black bow tie and top hat, just like his predecessor.
In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Toy Freddy's jumpscare occurs when he enters the Office after moving from the Show Stage. The player must wear a Freddy Fazbear mask to ward him off.
Later games, such as Ultimate Custom Night and Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, feature Toy Freddy in different capacities. In Ultimate Custom Night, he tasks the player with managing other animatronics via the in-game computer to prevent him from being jumpscared. He sometimes appears in VR minigames as well.
