Blackest Night Aquaman is a resurrected version of Arthur Curry, the Aquaman, appearing during DC Comics' "Blackest Night" event. He is brought back to life as a Black Lantern, a zombie-like entity powered by a Black Lantern Ring, fueled by death.
Unlike the Aquaman he once was, Black Lantern Aquaman is a corrupted and malevolent being. He retains his memories and knowledge but uses them to inflict psychological torment on those he once loved. His primary goal is to extinguish all emotional light, drawing power from the despair and anguish he causes.
As a Black Lantern, he possesses enhanced physical abilities, including strength and durability, and the ability to create Black Lantern constructs. His ring reanimates deceased characters from Aquaman's past, turning them into Black Lanterns under his command. His underwater kingdom of Atlantis becomes a horrifying landscape filled with undead creatures.
