Biography:

Arthur Curry, known as Aquaman, is a character within the DC Extended Universe. He is the son of Atlanna, the Queen of Atlantis, and Thomas Curry, a lighthouse keeper. This dual heritage gives him superhuman strength, the ability to breathe underwater, and communication with marine life.

Aquaman's first appearance in the DCEU was in the 2016 film, *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*, in a brief cameo. He later joined the Justice League in the *Justice League* movie, where he fought alongside other heroes to defend Earth from Steppenwolf. He initially resisted his Atlantean heritage but ultimately embraced his destiny as king.

He then starred in his own self-titled *Aquaman* movie, which delved into his origins and his conflict with his half-brother, Orm, over the throne of Atlantis. He must fight his half-brother in order to stop a war with the surface world.
