Aquaman, also known as Arthur Curry, is a DC character best known from movies.

Aquaman is the son of a lighthouse keeper and Atlanna, the Queen of Atlantis. This dual heritage grants him superhuman strength, the ability to breathe underwater, and telepathic communication with marine life. He struggles to bridge the gap between the surface world and his Atlantean heritage, eventually embracing his destiny as the King of Atlantis and a protector of both worlds.

He made his first film appearance in a cameo role in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, played by actor Jason Momoa. This version of the character plays the role of King of Atlantis and has a strong connection to the ocean.
