Arthur Curry, portrayed by Jason Momoa, is Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). He is the son of Atlanna, Queen of Atlantis, and Thomas Curry, a lighthouse keeper. This dual heritage makes him a bridge between the surface world and the underwater kingdom.

Initially reluctant to embrace his Atlantean heritage, Arthur is drawn into the political struggles of Atlantis when his half-brother, Orm, attempts to wage war on the surface world. He ultimately claims his birthright and becomes the King of Atlantis, striving to protect both worlds.

Aquaman’s first appearance in the DCEU was in *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice* (2016). He played a major role in *Justice League* (2017) and starred in his solo film, *Aquaman* (2018), further exploring his origins and his battle to unite Atlantis.
