Piotr "Peter" Rasputin, known as Colossus in the Ultimate Marvel universe, is a Russian mutant with the ability to transform his body into organic steel. This grants him immense strength, durability, and resistance to injury. He's a key member of the Ultimate X-Men.
Unlike his Earth-616 counterpart, Ultimate Colossus is portrayed as significantly more conflicted and prone to morally ambiguous decisions. He's driven by a desire to protect mutantkind but often struggles with the best way to achieve this, sometimes resorting to violence or questionable alliances.
He initially joined the X-Men after Professor X helped him control his powers. He displayed unrequited affections for Jean Grey which caused tension within the team. Later, he was involved in the Mutant Liberation Front. His story involved drug usage and association with morally dubious people which ultimately led to a tragic end.
