Biography:
Archangel, also known as Warren Worthington III, is a Marvel Comics superhero. Born into a wealthy and prominent family, Warren discovered his mutant ability to sprout large, feathered wings from his back in his teenage years.
Initially calling himself Angel, he used his wings for heroic purposes. He was one of the original five members of the X-Men, fighting for mutant rights under the guidance of Professor Charles Xavier.
Later, during a period of intense hardship and manipulation by the villain Apocalypse, Angel was transformed into Archangel. He was given metallic wings capable of firing razor-sharp projectiles and a more ruthless personality.
Throughout his history, Archangel has grappled with his darker persona and the control exerted over him by Apocalypse. He's navigated complex relationships within the X-Men and the wider Marvel Universe, striving to use his powers for good while battling his inner demons. He is capable of superhuman flight and possesses enhanced strength and durability.
