Darth Nihilus, a Sith Lord, was a key figure during the chaotic era following the Jedi Civil War. Before embracing the dark side, he was a survivor of the Mandalorian Wars, an experience that left him deeply scarred and susceptible to the dark side's allure.

He became a student of Darth Traya, learning to feed on the Force energies of living beings, a power that ultimately twisted him into a wound in the Force. This insatiable hunger drove him to consume entire planets, leaving behind only lifeless husks.

Nihilus was almost entirely concealed behind a mask and robes, reflecting his diminished humanity and total devotion to the dark side. He possessed immense power, able to drain the Force from entire planets, making him a terrifying threat to the galaxy. His ultimate goal was to consume all Force-sensitives, eradicating the Jedi and Sith alike to satisfy his unending hunger.

He met his end aboard his flagship, the Ravager, defeated by Meetra Surik, a Jedi Exile. Although his physical form was destroyed, the threat of his dark side influence remained, a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and the seductive nature of the Force.
