Biography:

Count Dooku, portrayed by Christopher Lee, first appeared in the film *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones*. A former Jedi Master, he was trained by Yoda and was the mentor of Qui-Gon Jinn.

Dooku abandoned the Jedi Order due to disillusionment with the Republic's corruption and the Jedi's perceived subservience to it. He embraced the dark side of the Force and became a Sith Lord, serving Darth Sidious as his apprentice, Darth Tyranus.

He played a key role in the Separatist movement, leading the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. A formidable lightsaber duelist and strategist, Dooku was ultimately betrayed and killed by Anakin Skywalker at the behest of Sidious in *Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith*.
