Count Dooku, introduced in Star Wars: Episode Attack of the Clones, was a powerful Jedi Master before becoming disillusioned with the Jedi Order and the Republic.

Trained by Yoda, Dooku was a respected and skilled warrior within the Jedi Order. However, he grew increasingly critical of the Republic's corruption and the Jedi's perceived inaction.

Dooku ultimately left the Jedi Order, renouncing his allegiance and reclaiming his title as Count of Serenno. He secretly aligned himself with Darth Sidious, becoming his apprentice, Darth Tyranus.

As a Sith Lord, Dooku played a key role in the Separatist movement, leading the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Republic, thus initiating the Clone Wars as seen in the Prequels.
