Biography:

Nathan Summers, better known as Cable, is a character associated with the X-Men franchise in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in *The New Mutants* #87 (March 1990).

Born to Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey), Nathan was infected with a techno-organic virus as a child. To save his life, he was sent to the future where he was cured and raised to become a warrior.

Cable possesses both telepathic and telekinetic abilities, but these are constantly strained by his need to suppress the techno-organic virus within him. He frequently travels to the present day, often working alongside the X-Men to prevent dystopian futures and safeguard mutantkind.
