Biography:
Nathan Summers, better known as Cable, is a character from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men #201 (January 1986).
Born Nathan Christopher Charles Summers, he is the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey). As an infant, he was infected with a techno-organic virus by Apocalypse, leading to a difficult future.
To save him, he was sent to the future where he could be cured. He grew up to become a warrior battling against Apocalypse and other threats.
Cable traveled back to the present to prevent those futures from occurring. He is often depicted as a gruff soldier with powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities (though the virus constantly drains these powers).
