Mr. Freeze, also known as Dr. Victor Fries, is a prominent villain in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared as Mr. Zero in Batman #121 (February 1959).

Driven by a tragic accident while cryogenically freezing his terminally ill wife, Nora, Fries was exposed to a freezing chemical that drastically lowered his body temperature. To survive, he must wear a cryogenic suit that maintains a sub-zero environment.

In The Lego Batman Movie, Mr. Freeze is portrayed as one of the many villains who plague Gotham City. The character can be found in LEGO set
