Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man, first appeared in Marvel Comics' Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, he is a perpetually relatable character defined by both extraordinary power and significant personal struggles.
