Jaghatai Khan, often referred to as the White Scar, is a prominent figure within the Warhammer 40K universe. He is the Primarch of the White Scars Space Marine Chapter.
A Primarch is a genetically engineered superhuman created by the Emperor of Mankind to lead his Space Marine Legions during the Great Crusade. The White Scars Legion, under Jaghatai Khan's command, are known for their lightning-fast assaults and mastery of hit-and-run tactics, often utilizing bikes and rapid deployment strategies.
His earliest appearance is difficult to precisely pinpoint, as much of his background and involvement in the Horus Heresy were initially conveyed through lore and supplemental materials within the Warhammer 40K tabletop game and Black Library novels. He later appeared in the novel, *Scars*, by Chris Wraight.
Jaghatai Khan's fate is ultimately unknown; after the Horus Heresy, he disappeared into the Webway while pursuing Dark Eldar raiders, leaving the White Scars to continue their duty to the Imperium.
