Blood Angels are a prominent Space Marine Chapter in the Warhammer universe, specifically WarhammerK. Renowned for their martial prowess and artistic inclinations, they are plagued by two genetic flaws: the Red Thirst and the Black Rage.

The Red Thirst is an insatiable craving for blood, driving them into frenzied states on the battlefield. The Black Rage is a psychic echo of their Primarch Sanguinius's death at the hands of Horus during the Horus Heresy. Space Marines succumbing to the Black Rage believe themselves to be Sanguinius during his final moments, becoming berserk and uncontrollable.
