Biography:

The Black Templars are a Chapter of Space Marines in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They are renowned for their unwavering faith in the Emperor and their relentless devotion to purging heretics, mutants, and xenos from the galaxy.

Founded during the Second Founding following the Horus Heresy, they are descended from the Imperial Fists Chapter. Unlike many Chapters, the Black Templars do not maintain a single Chapter homeworld. Instead, they operate as a fleet-based Crusade, constantly moving from warzone to warzone.

Led by a High Marshal, currently Helbrecht, the Black Templars are organized into self-contained fighting forces called Crusades. These Crusades are led by Marshals, who are granted significant autonomy in their operations. They are known for their aggressive tactics, employing rapid assaults and overwhelming firepower to crush their enemies.

Black Templars often take Vows, oaths of unwavering commitment to particular goals or methods of war. This adds another layer of fanaticism to their combat prowess. Their black and white armour, adorned with Templar crosses and religious iconography, is a symbol of their dedication and zeal.
