Anakin Skywalker, as depicted in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, is a prominent Jedi Knight serving the Galactic Republic. He first appears in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie (2008) which preceded the TV Show. This series, which is part of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, explores the period between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

During the Clone Wars, Anakin, despite his youth and occasional recklessness, becomes a celebrated hero and powerful warrior. Known for his unorthodox methods and strong connection to the Force, he leads Republic forces in numerous battles against the Separatist droid armies. He has a Padawan Learner named Ahsoka Tano.
