Anakin Skywalker is a central character in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, depicted prominently in "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith."

He begins as a promising Jedi Knight, renowned for his exceptional piloting skills and connection to the Force. However, Anakin struggles with emotional attachments, forbidden by the Jedi Order, particularly his secret marriage to Padmé Amidala.

Haunted by visions of Padmé's death and manipulated by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine (Darth Sidious), Anakin succumbs to fear and the lure of the dark side. He pledges himself to the Sith, becoming Darth Vader and a key enforcer of the Galactic Empire.

His transformation is complete when, during a lightsaber duel with his former master Obi-Wan Kenobi, he suffers grievous injuries and is encased in the iconic black life-support suit.
