Biography:
Denji, known as Chainsaw Man, is the protagonist of the anime series of the same name. His first appearance is in the first episode of the anime series, titled "Dog & Chainsaw."
Orphaned at a young age and burdened with his father's debt to the Yakuza, Denji struggles to survive. He works as a Devil Hunter, accompanied by his Chainsaw Devil companion, Pochita. He scrapes by, performing odd jobs and hunting Devils for scraps.
After being betrayed by the Yakuza and killed, Pochita merges with Denji, granting him the powers of the Chainsaw Devil. He is resurrected and begins a new life as a Public Safety Devil Hunter. As Chainsaw Man, Denji possesses the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, enabling him to fight Devils with brutal efficiency.
He is driven by simple desires, like eating good food and finding companionship. His naive and straightforward personality often clashes with the complex and dangerous world he now inhabits, leading to both humorous and tragic situations as he navigates the life of a Devil Hunter.
