Biography:
Denji, also known as Chainsaw Man, is the protagonist of the manga and anime series of the same name. A young man burdened with immense debt following his father's death, he ekes out a living as a Devil Hunter alongside his Chainsaw Devil companion, Pochita.
After being betrayed and murdered, Denji merges with Pochita, gaining the ability to transform into Chainsaw Man by pulling a cord on his chest. This transformation grants him immense power and the ability to manifest chainsaws from his limbs and head.
Following his revival, Denji is recruited by Makima into Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government organization dedicated to eliminating Devils. He is motivated by simple desires, such as good food, relationships, and a comfortable life, which contrast with the brutal and dangerous world he inhabits.
Throughout the series, Denji battles various Devils and grapples with his newfound powers and responsibilities. He is naive but resilient, and his experiences gradually shape him into a more complex and determined individual.
