Biography:
Denji is the protagonist of the popular manga and anime series, Chainsaw Man. Orphaned at a young age due to his father's suicide and left with massive debt to the Yakuza, Denji struggles to survive, resorting to extreme measures like selling body parts and working as a Devil Hunter with the Chainsaw Devil, Pochita.
Pochita, who becomes Denji's companion and friend, sacrifices himself to save Denji from a zombie devil, merging with Denji's heart and granting him the ability to transform into Chainsaw Man. This transformation grants him incredible strength and the power to manifest chainsaws from his body.
Driven by simple desires like eating good food and having a normal life, Denji is recruited into Public Safety Devil Hunters, where he fights against various powerful and dangerous Devils to protect humanity. He is often impulsive and lacks traditional social skills, but possesses a strong desire to protect those he cares about.
Throughout the series, Denji grapples with the consequences of his powers and the moral complexities of his work, learning more about the world of Devils and himself.
