Sabine Wren is a central character in the animated TV show *Star Wars Rebels*. A young Mandalorian warrior, she left her family and the Imperial Academy on Mandalore after creating a weapon the Empire intended to use against her people.
Sabine channels her artistic talents into revolutionary acts. Her colourful graffiti and explosive tactics become a signature of the Ghost crew's rebellion against the Empire. She is skilled with explosives, hand-to-hand combat, and piloting.
Her first appearance is in the first episode of *Star Wars Rebels*, "Spark of Rebellion," which initially aired as a TV movie on October 3, 2014. Over the course of the series, Sabine confronts her past, learns to wield the Darksaber, and fights to liberate Mandalore.
