Biography:

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a central character in the *Star Wars* saga, first appearing in the film *Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope* (1977), portrayed by Alec Guinness.

Initially known as Ben Kenobi, he is a wise and powerful Jedi Master, mentor to both Anakin Skywalker and later, his son, Luke Skywalker. Obi-Wan played a vital role in the Clone Wars as a General in the Republic army, facing off against his friend turned enemy Anakin Skywalker now called Darth Vader.

He is a skilled warrior and Force user, known for his mastery of lightsaber combat and his calm, strategic thinking. After the rise of the Galactic Empire, Obi-Wan went into hiding on Tatooine to watch over Luke, guiding him later on his Jedi path, before sacrificing himself in a duel with Darth Vader so that Luke and his friends can escape. He is later seen as a Force Ghost helping Luke on his journey.
