Biography:
Obi-Wan Kenobi, a central figure in the Star Wars saga, is a legendary Jedi Master known for his wisdom, courage, and unwavering commitment to the light side of the Force. Born on Stewjon, he was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant as an infant and trained in the ways of the Force by Grand Master Yoda.
He became the Padawan learner of Qui-Gon Jinn, and after Jinn's death at the hands of Darth Maul, Obi-Wan honored his master's wishes by training Anakin Skywalker. He guided Anakin through the Clone Wars, rising to the rank of Jedi General and forming a deep, though ultimately tragic, bond with his apprentice.
Obi-Wan's greatest triumph, and deepest sorrow, came when he faced Anakin, now Darth Vader, in a lightsaber duel on Mustafar. Believing Anakin was beyond redemption, Obi-Wan defeated him, leaving him for dead. Guilt-ridden, he went into self-imposed exile on Tatooine, watching over Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker. Years later, he mentored Luke in the ways of the Force, setting him on the path to becoming a Jedi and fulfilling his destiny to defeat the Empire. He eventually sacrificed himself to Darth Vader to allow Luke and his friends to escape the Death Star, becoming one with the Force and continuing to guide Luke as a Force ghost.
