Biography:

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old), as seen in the Original Trilogy of Star Wars, is a pivotal character first appearing in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

He is portrayed as a wise and powerful Jedi Master living in exile on the desert planet of Tatooine. He watches over a young Luke Skywalker, hidden from the Galactic Empire and Darth Vader.

Kenobi initially presents himself as "Ben Kenobi," an old hermit, concealing his true identity and past. He acts as Luke's mentor, introducing him to the Force and initiating him on the path to becoming a Jedi Knight.

Obi-Wan sacrifices himself during a duel with Darth Vader on the Death Star, allowing Luke and his companions to escape. Through the Force, he continues to guide Luke throughout his journey to defeat the Empire.
