Biography:
Obi-Wan Kenobi, also known as Ben Kenobi, first appeared in the 1977 film *Star Wars: A New Hope*. He is a central figure in the Star Wars saga, portrayed as a wise and powerful Jedi Master.
During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan served as a Jedi General, leading clone trooper battalions against the Separatist droid armies. His strategic acumen and lightsaber skills were instrumental in many Republic victories. He notably trained Anakin Skywalker, forming a close bond and fighting alongside him. He is voiced by James Arnold Taylor in the animated Clone Wars TV show.
Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, Obi-Wan went into hiding on Tatooine, watching over a young Luke Skywalker and protecting him from the dangers of the Empire. He later mentors Luke in the ways of the Force. He eventually sacrifices himself in a duel with Darth Vader to allow Luke and his companions to escape the Death Star.
