Dr. Curt Connors, a brilliant scientist, is the Marvel character known as the Lizard. Connors sought to restore his missing arm, lost in wartime, through reptilian limb regeneration. He injected himself with a serum derived from reptile DNA, hoping to replicate the process.
The experiment worked, regrowing his arm, but it had an unforeseen consequence. Connors transformed into a monstrous, reptilian humanoid – the Lizard.
