Biography:
Nathan Summers, more famously known as Cable, is a prominent character associated with Marvel's X-Men.
Born to Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey), Nathan was infected with a techno-organic virus by Apocalypse as an infant. To save his life, he was sent to the future where he could be cured and raised to master his considerable psionic abilities and learn to control the tech virus.
Cable made his first comic book appearance in *New Mutants* #87 in March of 1990.
Returning to the present, Cable became a time-traveling soldier battling threats to the future and often working alongside or leading various X-Men teams. He's known for his imposing stature, cybernetic arm and glowing left eye.
