Gwenpool, also known as Gwendolyn Poole, is a character from Marvel Comics. She is distinct from Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, though the name similarity is intentional.

First appearing in Howard the Duck Vol 6 #1 (2015) as a variant cover character, she debuted in an actual story in Gwenpool Holiday Special #1 (2015). She believes herself to be from a reality where Marvel characters are fictional. Consequently, she possesses an awareness of comic book tropes and narrative conventions.
