Hunter Zolomon, known as Zoom, is a speedster villain in The CW's Arrowverse, primarily featured in the second season of *The Flash*. He first appeared as Zoom in *The Flash*, "The Darkness and the Light" (TV Show, 2015).
Originating from Earth-, Hunter was a traumatized child who witnessed his father murder his mother. This event led to deep psychological damage and a hunger for power.
As Zoom, Hunter terrorized Earth-, posing as the heroic Flash to gain the public's trust before revealing his true, villainous nature. His goal was to become the only speedster in the multiverse by stealing the speed force from other speedsters, including The Flash from Earth-.
