Zoom, as portrayed in The CW's television series *The Flash*, is a speedster villain from Earth-Two.
Originally known as Hunter Zolomon (no first name confirmed in this adaptation) and played by Teddy Sears, Zoom gained his speed powers through a particle accelerator explosion on his world. Unlike the Flash, Zoom's powers come from a dangerous and unstable source, requiring him to steal speed from other speedsters to survive.
Zoom terrorized Earth-Two and eventually crossed over to Earth-One to steal Barry Allen's speed and conquer that world as well. He is a calculating and ruthless antagonist who is motivated by a twisted sense of justice and a desire to be seen as a hero.
His first appearance was in *The Flash* TV Show Season , episode "Enter Zoom" - 2015
