Peter Quill, known as Star-Lord, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), portrayed by Chris Pratt.

Abducted from Earth as a child following his mother's death, Quill was raised by the Yondu Udonta's Ravagers, a group of intergalactic mercenaries. He embraced the moniker "Star-Lord" and operated as a thief and adventurer.
