Biography:

Peter Quill, known as Star-Lord, is a central character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically gaining prominence in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. He first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).

Abandoned by his father shortly after his mother's death, Quill was abducted from Earth by Yondu Ravager and his crew. He grew up amongst them, learning survival skills and a roguish attitude.

Initially a self-serving outlaw and scavenger, Quill matures into a leader through his experiences with the Guardians. He is characterized by his love of 1970s and 80s Earth music, his humorous banter, and his surprisingly strong moral compass. Quill is of human and celestial hybrid origin, making him a powerful being.

He plays a significant role in combating intergalactic threats alongside the Guardians, and later joins forces with the Avengers to battle Thanos.
