Biography:

Galactus is a cosmic entity from the Marvel Universe, first appearing in Fantastic Four #48 (March 1966). He is known as the Devourer of Worlds, driven by an insatiable hunger to consume the life force of planets.

Originally, Galactus was Galan of Taa, a scientist from a dying universe. He merged with the Sentience of the Universe during the Big Crunch, being reborn in the nascent next universe as Galactus.

His immense power requires constant nourishment, leading him to seek out planets rich in energy. He is often opposed by heroes seeking to protect these worlds, although his actions are not inherently malevolent, but driven by survival.
