Biography:
Warren Worthington III, also known as Angel, is a mutant character in Marvel Comics, and appears in the film *X-Men: The Last Stand*. Born with large, feathered wings, Warren initially attempts to suppress his mutation, believing it to be a freakish abnormality.
Coming from a wealthy family, Warren undergoes experimentation to "cure" his mutation at Worthington Labs, a company owned by his father. The gene alteration proves unsuccessful, and instead transforms Warren's feathered wings into metallic ones.
These metallic wings grant him enhanced strength and the ability to fire metallic feathers as projectiles. Abandoning his father's attempts to alter his nature, he embraces his mutant identity and joins the X-Men, contributing his aerial combat skills to the team.
