Nightwing, also known as Dick Grayson, is a superhero in the DC Comics Universe. He first appeared as Nightwing in Tales of the Teen Titans #44 (July 1984).
Richard "Dick" Grayson began his crime-fighting career as Robin, Batman's first sidekick. After years of working alongside the Dark Knight, Dick matured and sought to establish his own identity. Taking on the mantle of Nightwing, he moved to Blüdhaven to operate as a solo hero.
Nightwing is a highly skilled acrobat, martial artist, and detective, trained by both Batman and experience. He is also a natural leader, often working with and leading other heroes such as the Teen Titans or the Outsiders. He has a complicated relationship with Batman, sometimes being at odds but remaining a close confidant.
