Nightwing, originally known as Dick Grayson, is a superhero appearing in DC Comics publications, including the Young Justice Cartoon series and the DC Animated Universe.

Grayson began his crime-fighting career as Robin, Batman's first sidekick. He was trained extensively by Batman in martial arts, acrobatics, and detective work.

As he grew older, Grayson transitioned into his own independent identity as Nightwing, seeking to establish himself outside of Batman's shadow. This shift allowed him to develop his own leadership skills and operate as a solo hero, particularly in the city of Blüdhaven.

Nightwing first appeared in the DC Animated Universe with Young Justice season 1 and has since become a prominent figure in the animated series, continuing to fight for justice and protect the innocent.
