Dick Grayson, known as Nightwing, first appeared in Detective Comics #38 in April 1940 as Robin. In the comics, after a falling out with Batman, Grayson adopted the Nightwing identity, a name inspired by a Kryptonian hero.
Nightwing is a highly skilled acrobat and martial artist, trained extensively by Batman. He is a natural leader, known for his compassion and ability to connect with others. These traits often put him at odds with Batman's more solitary and brooding nature.
