Nightwing, formerly known as Robin, is a prominent superhero in DC Comics.
Richard "Dick" Grayson made his first appearance as Robin in Detective Comics #38 (April 1940). After a falling out with Batman, Dick transitioned into his own hero. As Robin, Grayson wore a colorful red, green, and yellow costume. However, as Nightwing, Grayson donned a sleek blue and black suit, that represents him coming into his own as a hero and leaving Batman's shadow behind.
Nightwing operates primarily in Blüdhaven, a neighboring city to Gotham. He is known for his acrobatics, martial arts skills, and detective abilities, all honed during his time as Robin and his independent adventures.
