Biography:
Hellboy, created by Mike Mignola, is a fictional comic book character who debuted in Dark Horse Comics #1 in 1993. Born in the fictional East Bromwich, England, on October 4, 1944, Hellboy is a demon summoned to Earth as an infant by Grigori Rasputin.
Discovered by the United States military and Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Hellboy was raised as a normal child and eventually became an agent of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD). His appearance includes red skin, a tail, horns (which he files down), and an oversized right hand made of stone, known as the Right Hand of Doom.
Despite his demonic origins, Hellboy fights on the side of good, investigating paranormal events and battling supernatural threats. He grapples with his destiny and resists the forces of evil that seek to exploit his connection to the apocalypse. His adventures often involve folklore, mythology, and the occult, and he is known for his dry wit and strong sense of justice.
