Lucas Bishop, often known simply as Bishop, is a mutant from a dystopian future in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #282 (November 1991).

Bishop is characterized by his ability to absorb and redirect energy. This power, coupled with his extensive combat training from the Xavier Security Enforcers (XSE) of his era, makes him a formidable opponent.

Born in a mutant concentration camp, Bishop grew up idolizing the X-Men, viewing them as legendary figures. His time-traveling escapades often involve attempts to prevent the dark future he escaped, sometimes putting him at odds with the very heroes he admires.
