Nightwing is a superhero character primarily associated with DC Comics. Originally known as Dick Grayson, he began his crime-fighting career as Robin, Batman's first sidekick, created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Jerry Robinson. He first appeared as Robin in *Detective Comics* #38 in 1940.
As he matured, Grayson sought to establish his own identity, eventually adopting the persona of Nightwing. He left the role of Robin and relocated to Blüdhaven, a city he dedicated himself to protecting. As Nightwing, he evolved into a skilled acrobat, martial artist, and detective, operating independently while maintaining close ties with the Batman Family.
